There are many semi-permanent eyebrow procedures to choose from, but Haven Studio Co always insists on the absolute best for our clients. At each appointment time is taken to assess each client's needs, goals and skin type to choose the best method and technique to create custom brows. All brow techniques are permanent makeup procedures that use either a single-needle digital machine to create hyper-realistic hair strokes, or a powdery every day, soft makeup look or a microblade for non oily skin. All permanent makeup results typically last 1 to 3 years. All permanent makeup services require a 6 to 8 week touch up to complete the look and help your skin retain ink for long lasting brows.

What is the difference between Microblading and Powder Ombré brows?

    MICROBLADING

Microblading is a very popular and safe permanent makeup treatment. It gives you a soft fluffy natural look that is slightly more defined and filled out more than your natural brows. Individual hair like strokes are created using a sterile tool and insert high-quality pigment into the dermal layer, creating an illusion of natural fullness. Microblading is recommended to client's with normal to dry skin and younger skin types (mature skin does not hold microbladed strokes as well). Microbladed brows can last 9 months to 18 months.

    NANO BROWS

For this look, a single nano needle is used to mimic the look of natural eyebrow hairs. This is an optional choice for clients with combination or oily skin who are looking to create that realistic, hair-like appearance. Likewise, clients suffering from thinning hair or more drastic hair loss can benefit from the natural "hair like" appearance with some powder shading. Nano brows can last anywhere from 1 to 3 years, after which touch-up sessions might be required to complete the look.

    Powder Ombre' Brows

     Powder Ombré Brows
These are also known as ‘powder brows’ because the machine creates a soft dusting of permanent makeup pigment to the brow area, which results in more density to the existing eyebrows. Unlike the individual hair strokes the ombré technique deposits hundreds of pigmentation dots into the skin creating a more filled-in look yet keeping the brows ultra soft for a natural appearance.
. The great thing about the ombré brows is that it can be used on all skin types and creates the least amount of trauma to your skin. These particular brows often last around 1 to 3 years.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Is Nano Brows better than Microblading?

Yes. While both are effective eyebrow treatments, Nano uses a smaller needle than microblading which improves the precision and accuracy of the procedure. This allows for a much more natural final appearance.

How long does Powder Ombre' Brows last?

The Ombré Brows treatment has more pigment saturation than the Microblading which means the treatment will last you between 1 and 3 years. The longevity depends on factors such as sun exposure, exfoliation techniques, and more, but you can have a touch-up session if it starts to fade.

Why is permanent makeup a form of a semi-permanent tattoo?

While Ombré Brows, Microblading or Nano brows are better known as permanent makeup now in days there is a much more modern method that focuses on the surface – or epidermis – of the skin, resulting in a softer powder or hair stroke effect. The newer techniques focus on the top layer of the skin instead of the third layer of skin making the skin less saturated creating the more natural look. Keep in mind this is still considered a permanent makeup tattoo but on the lighter side of tattoo ink application, therefore results only lasting 1 - 3 years and fading over time.
